Giant reversible magnetoresistance effect in a Ni<sub>46</sub>Co<sub>3</sub>Mn<sub>35</sub>Cu<sub>2</sub>In<sub>14</sub> polycrystalline alloy

In this work, the reversible magnetoresistance properties in a Ni46Co3Mn35Cu2In14 polycrystalline alloy were studied. By using Co substitution for Ni to improve magnetic and Cu Mn reduce transformation hysteresis, large field dependence of temperature up 6.8 K T−1 low hysteresis 11.5 achieved. Such optimized magnetostructural parameters allowed complete induced inverse martensitic be realized under 5 T, giving rise giant −73.5%.
